We are pleased to announce that Prof. Lynn M. Burlbaw has been named Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Curriculum Studies Research (JCSR).
Lynn M. Burlbaw, PhD, is Emeritus Professor of Social Studies and Education History at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, USA. He taught a variety of courses related to the History of Education, Social Studies Methods and Research, Oral History and Archival. He has published in numerous journals including Social Education, Social Studies, East Texas History Journal, South Texas Journal and the American Educational History Journal. He has been an active conference presenter at regional, state, national and international conferences. He is the Executive Secretary of the Society for the Study of Curriculum History (30+ years) and has held office in organizations such as Society for the Study of Curriculum History, Central Texas Historical Association, South Texas Historical Association, Midwest History of Education Society (now OEH), and Texas Council for the Social Studies. His research interests lie in the areas of teacher education, curriculum history, and methods of social studies instruction. He has chaired over 500 masters degree students and 60+ doctoral dissertations.
